The Climate Institute facilitates and supports governments, educational institutions and companies in
the development and implementation of their actions aligned with the protection and balance of the
climate system. We act in accordance with international climate policies, the deliberations of the United
Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Brazilian regulations.

The Zero Carbon Municipality Program is an initiative of a partnership between CNR, CNM and Instituto Clima, which has its origins in the Pilot Project Caminhos de Peabiru conceived by Maria Tereza Uille Gomes.
